Last night David Wilson (CCA LM107 CCS 1974-2) passed peacefully with his family by his side.
We are in direct communication with Dave’s family and will pass detailed funeral information as soon as it is available.
Unfortunately, Dave and his wife Cora were in the hospital at the same time. Cora is had a surgery this morning and is recovering.
Bobby, their son, told us that Dave and Cora were able to spend 24 hrs together in the hospital holding hands. This moment provided the family with an indelible memory of Dave and Cora as a strong and loving couple.
Bobby also said Dave held his CCT coin in the air for 15 -20 minutes at a time, showing his love of CCT and his determined spirit; Bobby spoke of this with incredible pride.
We will all remember Dave as a devout teammate and friend. A man who led from the front.
