Mr Joe Earl Hendricks, 57 of Oxford DEATHS – Mississippi Commercial Appeal, The (Memphis, TN) – Wednesday, November 8, 1995 POTTS CAMP – Joe Earl Hendricks, 57, retired U.S. deputy marshal, died of cancer Tuesday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Waller Funeral Home in Oxford. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and Air Force. He was a warrant officer and helicopter pilot and completed two tours during the Vietnam War. He retired after 33 1/2 years working for the federal government. He was a member of Gold Prospectors Club and a Baptist. Mr. Hendricks, the husband of Lucy Hendricks, also leaves three daughters, Patricia Griffin, Trina Hendricks and Joann Hendricks, all of Gary, Fla.; a son, Charles Hendricks of Metairie, La.; a sister, Betty Hendricks of California; and five grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society.
