Joe Charles Majurin, 73, of Texarkana, Ark., died Friday, Oct. 18, 2013, in a local nursing home.
Mr. Mahurin was born Oct. 29, 1939, in Jefferson, Texas. He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service and the Air Force and a member of Mandeville Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Joe W. and E.J. Majurin of Roy, Utah; two daughters, Barbara Mahurin Wright of Georgetown, Texas, and Cindy Mahurin of Wichita, Kan.; one sister and brother-in-law, Tym and Jay Wilson of Queen City, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Peggy Mahurin of Texarkana; two granddaughters, Caitlynne and Cailee Mahurin; and a number of other relatives.
Graveside services were held at East Memorial Gardens with Jeff Robinett officiating. Burial with military honors was under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.
