John Herman Vohs Goose Creek – Msgt John Herman Vohs USAF (Ret.), 79, of Goose Creek, significant other of Janette Crosby of Ravenel, passed away on Friday, March 30, 2018 at Oakbrook Health and Rehab. Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 10 o'clock until hour of service at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 11 o'clock. Burial will be private. Flowers will be accepted. John was born on April 14, 1938 in St. Louis, MO, son of the late Oliver Vohs and Martha Vohs. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He loved skydiving. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. Survivors including his significant other Janette are: two sons: Michael Vohs of Knoxville, TN and Jason Vohs (Dianne) of Greensburg, PA; five grandchildren: Christopher, Emily, Matthew, Hailey and Michaela; one sister: Susie Auer (Andy) of Illinois; one brother: Bobby Vohs of Illinois.
