STACK, Joseph E. Beloved Father & Grandfather Joseph E. Stack of Las Vegas, NV passed away Monday, November 12, 2018 at the Jerry L. Pettis Memorial Veterans Hospital in Loma Linda, CA, with his loving daughters by his side.

He was 74 years old. Born on May 27, 1944 in Malden, MA, to the late Edward G. Stack Sr. and Irene M. (Willett) Stack. He was raised in Melrose, MA and was a 1962 graduate of Melrose High School.

He served in the U.S. Air Force as a Paratrooper and a member of the First Air Commando Combat Control Team (CCT). He later graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management. He spent 30 years working for New England Telephone, retiring as Staff Director, and he was responsible for the successful implementation of the state of Rhode Islands enhanced 911 system, for which he served as Project Manager. Following his retirement, he founded Charters in Paradise N.V. on the Island of St. Maarten, NA where he served as Managing Director and Captain of the sailing vessel, Inspiration.

In Joes later years, he loved woodworking and making artistic wooden bowls and toys for his grandchildren.

Joseph is survived by his loving daughters and sailing partners who brought so much joy to his life, Amy M. (Stack) Miller and her husband Ryan of Murrieta, CA and Andrea J. (Stack) Sigler and her husband Brian of Mission Viejo, CA. He was the cherished Grandfather of Nathan, Chase, Aiden, Jonah and Ashley, who brought him so much happiness in his later years. He was the caring brother of Beverly A. Richardson of CT, Edward (Chuck) G. Stack Jr. of Reading, Mary Kay McIntyre of Reading and Terri A. Uzzle of Melrose. Joe is also survived by nephews, Edward III, Adam, and Jared Stack, and nieces, Katie and Megan McIntyre and Jade Irene Uzzle.

A private service was held in his honor for his immediate family at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, CA..
