Rick Akset (CCS 87-01) passed away Jan 2, 2018. Rick has left us with so many fond memories which all cherish. Please pray for strength for Kathrine, Ryan, Justin and the rest of his family as they deal with their grief. They have seen all the posts from our community and appreciate the love, kindness and prayers that have been passed from you all.
Rest in Peace Brother
On Dec 14, Rick Akset was riding his motorcycle in Yuma, AZ and hit by a car that ran a stop sign. Ricky is in critical condition in a Phoenix hospital and his family has moved into a hotel close to the hospital. Ricky’s wife Kat and her boys have taken on considerable expenses staying at Ricky’s side. Ricky, a retired USAF Combat Controller, is an instructor at the US Army’s Special Forces, Military Freefall School in Yuma, AZ.
