William Jess Massengill of Clovis, NM, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2025. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025 10:00 am, with Pastor Jon Forrest officiating, at the Chapel of Angels, 1430 Thornton, Street. Graveside service to be held at Fort Stanton Veteran Cemetery at a later date.
William was born on October 15, 1952, to C.A Massengill and Delpha J Huffman in Las Cruces, NM. William married Sandra on October 14, 2019, in Clovis, NM. He served in United States Air Force for 21 years until his retirement in 1993. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and fur babies.
He is survived by his wife; Sandra Massengill of the home, children; JD Massengill (Ann)of Nebraska, Jim Massengill (Makayla) of Nebraska, Maria Massengill, Clint Huse (Allison) of Texas, and Toni Cartright (Kenneth) of Texas, sister; Kathy (Tom) Grant of North Carolina, eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
